Definition of halogen bulb
Halogen bulb is a tungsten bulb that uses chemical reactions of halogen material by sealing inert gas containing trace amounts of halogen substance. Halogen Cycle refers to the continuous circulation of halogen gas between the surface and the filament inside the glass sphere. This cycle prolongs the life of the bulb and prevents black spots (blackening) on the surface of the glass sphere. Halogen bulbs have higher efficiency than ordinary bulbs, resulting in less loss of life and brighter luminescence, drawing attention as economic bulbs. Moreover, the characteristics of halogen bulbs, which can be made in small sizes, are used in linked industries to enable efficient and design production. In particular, halogen bulbs are widely used for car headlamps and fog lamps with a bright, long life span.
